Maintaining a historic building is a continuous journey. Below are our current priorities and recently completed works.
Current Focus
Nave Roof Repairs
Following recent inspections, replacing damaged leadwork and securing loose timber on the nave roof has become our most pressing priority to prevent water ingress.
In Planning
Stonework Repointing
We are raising funds to hire specialist stonemasons to repoint the exterior flint walls using traditional lime mortar, allowing the ancient stone to breathe.
Completed (2024)
Stained Glass Conservation
Thanks to generous local donations, the east window was successfully removed, cleaned, re-leaded, and reinstalled with protective outer glazing.
